Raised beds, gardening tips and tricks, and plant projects of all kinds. We specialize in edible and native plant landscaping. 

What is edible and native plant landscaping?

In the year 2022 some 800 to 1000 people moved the state of Florida every single day. Because of this, estimated up to 500 acres per day is being newly developed with roadways, businesses, and housing communities. This is at least half the size of Hernando County being developed all over Florda every year. When these newly developed areas are built, plants, trees, insects, and wildlife that naturally occur get totally relocated, cleared out, and unfortunately large mature well aged trees are burned on site. Florida is a state of abundance, uniquely especially diverse in natural species that have inhabited the land for many generations. These species are important to our local ecosystem and wilderness that humans seem to forget is just as important as their infrastructures. It doesn’t have to be so out of balance and by putting the right plants back in our lawns, landscapes and environments, together we can help reduce the negative ecological footprint our kids will have to inherit in the near future.
